Straight-up compliance
Our specialty is the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017, with particular focus on location compliance and stationary container systems. We can also advise on other matters under those regulations and related hazardous substances legislation, plus much more.

- Prepare the site for certification — inventories, emergency response plans, site plans and the other documents a certifier needs — so a certificate can be issued right away, with no back-and-forth
- Liaise with your compliance certifier
- Support exemption applications where full compliance is not practicable
New sites and projects
- Sit in the project team so design does not have to be undone later
- Identify separation distances and other requirements that drive layout
- Advise on site layout and fire ratings, with clear explanation and concept CAD drawings where useful
- Liaise with compliance certifiers for approval in principle
- Support resource consents: hazardous facility screening (HFSP) and expert reports on district plan compliance for hazardous substances
